- I have looked at other companies with similar products. What makes the Kinesiometric™ System so different?
- The Kinesiometric™ System was designed by a doctor who still maintains a full-time practice. Therefore, the Kinesiometric™ system utilizes the necessary documentation needed for TODAYS manual therapy practices to determine medical necessity. The is designed by a chiropractor for chiropractors. Narrative reporting is configured to compare muscle testing and/or ROM performance from the initial exam to the results from the interim and final exams. EBP has chiropractors as resources in areas of diagnostic testing, CPT coding and billing, cost containment and utilization review.
- Is range of motion and muscle testing easy to learn?
- Yes, the only thing that you must do is open the box, turn the computer and Kinesiometers on and offices are up and running within an hour after viewing the training videos provided on ebp.net website. - Will I really get paid for these diagnostic tests in my state?
- Most offices indicate 90% plus reimbursement rate for their personal injury claims and general insurance. Workers Compensation reimbursement varies from state to state. EBP suggests that when calling for insurance verification, you inquire on coverage for diagnostic testing codes 97750 & 95851. And remember, without good documentation, reimbursement for any service can be challenged.
